i remember sobbing hysterically with laughter the first time i saw this episode

This girl is my little sister (She even has her own Tumblr). She’s 9 years old. She thinks like a normal 9 year old. She talks like a normal 9 year old. She acts like a normal 9 year old. She just doesn’t breathe like a normal 9 year old. My little sister has what’s called “Cystic Fibrosis”. Cystic fibrosis (CF) is a devastating and deadly genetic lung disease that affects tens of thousands of children and young adults in the United States. What it is, in basic terms is a disease where the mucus builds up in their lungs, and eventually can close up their lungs and can lead to a bad ending. The current life expectancy of a patient with CF is around 30 years old. The idea of my sister not being around when we both get older is unthinkable. Fortunately, my sister has a very mild case of Cystic Fibrosis, but it is a progressing disease. So I want to get all of your help. We are walking for Courtney as “Courtney’s Gang” in the Great Strides walk on May 20th, 2012 and I have set up a little “Donate” button on my blog. I understand that some people cannot afford to be donating money to Cystic Fibrosis, and if you are one of those people, I would really appreciate it if you could REBLOG this post and share it with your friends. Even a donation of a penny counts, please help CF stand for “Cure Found”.
